Our History

TalenTTracker is a company that assists Credit Unions find. assess. hire. retain. the best leaders.  Formed in 2009 by Greg Fouks, a long time credit union member and industry consultant, the company’s sole purpose is to share ideas and products that identify the talent needed to grow our industry, by assisting one credit union at a time.

It has always been the goal of the Credit Union industry to offer financial assistance to the members we serve.  From nature we learn that you either grow or die, and talent is often the separating factor between wild success and mediocrity.  TalenTTracker assists “the movement” in identifying and developing the best talent the industry has to offer, and desperately needs to succeed.

We all want to be inspired by the people we follow, we want purpose in our daily lives and we want to work at a place where we are respected and have the opportunity to make a difference.  This is true regardless if we are on the Board, the Senior Management Team or the Staff in our credit union or service organizations. Our Credit Union industry has always been a place where service to others transcends profits or individual recognition, but the industry challenges and opportunities before us make finding the best leaders of utmost future importance.  And while our ideas and services could be valuable to any industry or organization, we cater specifically to the industry we love—the Credit Union industry.

Some of our specialties include Recruitment Solutions and Executive Search to help you find and hire the best talent for your organization’s needs and culture.  We also offer Background Checks and Candidate Testing to access this talent. Finally, we offer Planning Facilitation, Strategic Planning, and Performance Improvement services to develop and retain your talent.

We also strive to give back to the industry by offering individual and personal assistance with two additional services. 

• First, our Star Database identifies the best talent by state in the most prevalent leadership roles—CEO, COO, CFO, Lending, Human Resources and Marketing.  These talented leaders can be accessed in order to discuss best practices of their credit unions products and services, or help to identify potential talent in your organizations succession planning steps.
• Second, the Career Center allow individuals who want to learn, grow or advance in the credit union industry access to collections of articles, books and ideas.  For example, Hire With Magic shares a hiring methodology that can enhance your individual Human Resource department process, especially for those small to medium sized credit unions who can’t afford a full time HR executive.  Or the PuzzPryamid Leadership Factors, in which Greg Fouks discusses those skill sets the best leaders have and learn.  And finally there is individual assistance with cover letters, resumes and interview assistance.  All of TalenTTracker’s products and services are intended to enhance the future growth of our industry and people and for the benefit of the members we serve.
